Enrich your mind through something incredible
What defines a “classic”? To some people, a classic is an old, boring book; the one you never read as a kid because the cover art was outdated and the pages had yellowed. To others, a classic is a must-read, simply because its words sprung from the minds of some of the greatest men and women to tread our lands.
Even the dictionary has a take on classic: “A work of art of recognized or posessing long-standing value”. But what is a classic really?
A classic is a work so powerful, it persuaded an entire generation to take the work, and pass it on to their children, and, in turn, they to theirs. Down through the generations it moves, its power not once abating, until, at the end, the work presents itself to us, providing us the unique opportunity to glean its legends, lessons, and lore.
Life is made of opportunities, whether it be an opportunity to succeed, or an opportunity to fail, and the writers of so many books have gone through the exact same successes and failures we all have. Their works give us a chance; a chance to learn, a chance to rise above.
A chance to be inspired.
Yours truly-
